We did it Joe! December awaits. Fun fact: I have completed a marathon. Whenever people ask me what my time was, I respond with, “finished,” because all that matters is that I completed those 26.2 miles. This has been a horrible, no good, very bad year for a lot of people and I’m very sorry about that. I know a lot of people right now feel like how I felt at mile 21. My knees were on their last leg. I was dizzy and I wanted to just stop and lay down. The only thing that kept me going was thinking about how close I was to it being over. Just 5 more miles and it didn’t matter if I crawled, limped or hopped across I would be finished. We’re almost there. One step, one breath at a time to finish this year off.
