Fragrances- Spring Rotation 2026

Hi folks,

I had three fragrances in heavy rotation this spring. I’ve reviewed Poets of Berlin here and Espíritu here.

I picked up Noyz Detour at Ulta. The master perfumer for the brand NOYZ is perfumer Jérôme Epinette, the nose behind cult-favorite fragrances for brands like Byredo and Atelier Cologne. Their scents are reportedly vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated to meet strict clean-beauty standards. The NOYZ bottles are interestingly shaped. According to the internet the shape is an oval. I’d trust the internet’s geometry skills over mine. The fragrance notes for Detour are listed as:

  • Top: Spanish Mandarin / Pink Pepper / Apple Blossom
  • Middle: Jasmine / Gardenia / Tiare Blossom
  • Base: Skin Musk / Indian Papyrus / Vanilla

Detour was my work from home scent this spring. On me, it’s an intimate fragrance that lasts about 3 to 4 hours. Of the listed notes, the vanilla and apple blossom are the ones I pick up on the most.

Detour is pleasant, not distracting, and not headache inducing. I think it would be a safe fragrance for anyone who works in an office setting.

I’m about halfway through the bottle I bought around the start of spring, and I would definitely repurchase it. I’ll probably keep reaching for it throughout the summer, partly because the bottle is sitting on my desk. Who doesn’t need a nice burst of apple blossom before yet another meeting? 🤣

Have a great week!
