The Great Ocean Road – Victoria, Australia: -38.733826, 143.687271

I had the lentil burger and the best fries of my life here. The fries came in a mini pail. Need I say more?
I’m a shower gal through and through but this tub at the cabin we stayed in at Skenes Creek was lovely.
Loved the cabin core decor.
My muse. A symbol of peace, tranquility and protection.
I had my friends pull over so I could take this picture. I don’t remember seeing all black cows before.

Hey there!

If you find yourself in Melbourne, Australia I’d highly recommend you plan for a trip along the Great Ocean Road. The road was built as a World War I war memorial by the returning soldiers between 1919 and 1932. It’s one of the most famous drives in the world. I usually max out at about two hours driving even though I can be on a plane for 20 hours with no problem. The scenery on The Great Ocean road was so beautiful that I can’t even tell you how long it took us because I lost track of the time.  It also helped that I did none of the driving. I do know that we started in Melbourne and ended at Skenes Creek. On the way to and from Melbourne we had some great meals. You are guaranteed great coastline views, lots of good food options and a chance to see the local wildlife up close. It was a 10/10 experience that I would do again.
