Tried a new flower shop. Flowers were cute but more expensive than my old place and they didn’t last as long 🫤.Had a long over due catch up with a friend 😊.
I read The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong. I was a bit underwhelmed overall but Vuong can write and I liked this passage 😐.

… Me neither. July flew by *whoosh”. I really tried with the dialogue but I would be at a loss, it was very hard for me to decipher the conversation and I am not surprised it seems the book was a bit meh – but yes I liked the reflection.
Food glorious food – I think I’ve tried something like this – simple and delicious. Wishing you all the best for August :)!!
