I try to travel to a new place every year. Last year after watching the movie Crazy Rich Asians I was inspired to go to the Republic of Singapore which has the distinction of being the only island-city-country in the world.

Ganghwa Island, South Korea: 37.7132° N, 126.4511° E

These photos were taken while on a tour of Ganghwa Island in South Korea. The island is about 17 miles/28 kilometers from Seoul Airport. I travelled there by bus on a sunny day in September last year.

New England is a region in the northeastern United States that is made up of six states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Some of you might have known this but I didn’t until I spent some time in Boston and Connecticut recently.

My Favorite City ~ London, England

I really like visiting London. It’s easy to get around. There’s so much to see and do. And oh the gardens! Don’t get me started on the gardens. London weather gets a bad rap but when I was there several months ago it was sunny and dry.

Hvar, Croatia: 43.1729° N, 16.4411° E

After Split (here) I went to Hvar which was a 2 hour boat ride away. Hvar has a reputation as a party island. The way my knees are set up though I spent most of my time sightseeing and relaxing. The island provided plenty of opportunities for both.
