In December I averaged about 4 workouts a week, which was less than previous months but understandable considering how hectic things got with the holidays and the end of the year at work. My goals for November were to try a hot yoga class, increase my dedicated strength training workouts and get more cardio in. No dice on the cardio and the strength training. I did finally try a hot yoga class and I liked it.
Every new year I recommit to doing my best to eat right and exercise. For 2012 I’m not giving up on my strength training goals. I also want to get back to a regular yoga practice, continue Pilates(which I love) and start doing more outdoor running. I passed on joining a running club this year because I realized I generally prefer to workout by myself. I also don’t like the extra competitiveness that’s sometimes a part of those clubs. I like exercising and I’m looking forward to having a great year of workouts.
