This is not Oxblood

Necklace: NYC street vendor
Jacket: Loft
Dress: Loft
Shoes: Nine West

I know this is the season of the ox, and I love deep dark mauve, purple and burgundy, but the color that stole my heart this year was blue. Bright, cobalt, royal and indigo blues to be exact. Where have they been all of my life? The love affair started with these pants from Express,

and it reached it’s boiling point with this polish from YSL.

So I was very pleased to find the dress I’m wearing in these pics in the abyss that is my closet with the tags still on. In my defense I’m not much of a dress person, and it was the material(soft and squishy like a great pair of pajamas) that caught my attention more so than the color at the time. Finding this dress brings me to a grand total of…… two pieces in my wardrobe in this color that I love so much. What can I tell ours is a love of quality not quantity.

Have a great week!

The fit of that dress looks great on you – and the bright bold blue is fantastic against your skintone!
