There was a house we all had in common…

…..and it was called the past

I was at my mother’s this weekend looking for a specific photo of her, when I found some “vintage” pics of me. I don’t remember anything about the day any of the pictures were taken, but I do remember that school and piano lessons were a big part of my life back then.

In terms of style, I remember my school uniform(baby blue top with blue plaid skirt) and I  remember the sweater I’m wearing in the second pic. I loved that sweater. The zipper, the hood, the red white and blue stripes on the pockets, wrists and the hood. That could possibly be where my love of sweaters and jackets started. I also remember that my mother was obsessed, obsessed I tell you with putting ribbons in my hair.

Then the next decade started, and we moved and I started to dress myself thus so: { I’ve inserted a page break at this point to give you a chance to not continue on and spare your eyes. You are welcome.}

Ahhh yes the glorious 90s.

All I have to say is yes, one of them is me

Although I’m positive I’m not the only one with such a personal example of early 90s fashion. Of the comely is a judgement free zone, so your secret is safe with me.

Take care.

    Yes, the elementary school uniform! Thanks for sharing your personal [fashion] history… I would NEVER post pics of myself from the 90s! LOL But I probably have one that looks exactly like yours–bangs and all.
