|SheaMoisture Lemongrass & Ginger Scrub ($9.99/12 oz) and Lemongrass & Ginger Soap ($4.99/8 oz)|
|On the nails: Formula X for Sephora- Grandeur|
I first picked up a SheaMoisture Lemongrass Soap on a whim while in CVS. It was love at first shower. The bar lathers nicely and rinses without that film you sometimes get from bar soaps that dry out your skin. It also smells divine. To me the scent is a very light and pleasing combination of citrus and florals that both sooth and uplift. Trust me when I tell you it smells amazing. If you don’t want to trust me check out all of these people here who feel the same way.
I liked the soap so much I decided to try out the other Lemongrass & Ginger products in the SheaMoisture line. There is an oil which strangely did not work for me. I don’t know if I got a bad bottle but I didn’t like the smell of the oil. There is also a scrub pictured above that I did like. It gave me the same aromatherapy experience I was used to with the soap.
You know those people that use the same product, and only that product for twenty years because it works for them. Yeah, I’m not one of them. I like to try different things, and this is reflected by the cornucopia of shower products in my bathroom. The SheaMoisture Lemon Grass & Ginger scrub and soap have earned their slot on the repurchase section of my bath and beauty shopping list.
According to the SheaMoisture website their products are not tested on animals, and are made without parabens and synthetic fragrances.
