Hi folks,

You know I love a good candle. I also love excellent customer service. Put the two together and you have a customer for life. I found Reisfields New York (here) on Instagram and then looked them up on the great directory Le Internet. The lifestyle brand is Black owned and was established in New York in 2016 by the artist Reis Chester. I chose Reisfields No. 3 which has notes of fresh moss, amber, patchouli and vanilla from their classic line for my first exploration of the brand. Spoiler alert. I picked well. Reisfields’ website describes No. 3 as faint yet intoxicating. I know that sounds like a difficult combination to pull off but they did and they were right on the money with that explanation of the fragrance.  When you enter the area with  No. 3 burning the scent whispers intimately to you throughout the entire room. The vanilla and amber notes are the ones I pick up the most. I can see the No 3 scent working for a solo night in, while you work from home, date night or if you have company over. Sis is versatile in a I don’t compete I’m just content to unfold my sinuous layers discretely kind of way.

The 10 0z/284g candle was packaged securely and delivered quickly. I thought the hand written note and the info card were a nice touch. I already have my eye on No. 4 with it’s palo santo and green notes. They also have No. 3 packaged in a cement container that looks very chic. You know what they say. Sharing is caring so don’t say I never cared for you.
