This e card just about sums up these last couple of weeks for me. So I’m going to do my best to ease myself back into blogging. And what better way to do that than with my absolute favorite past time/distraction/obsession-NAIL POLISH. Because it doesn’t matter how busy, exhausted, unmotivated, sick, distraught or distracted I may be there’s always time for a manicure.**
Ergo I give you my nail looks for the past couple of weeks:
Chanel Frenzy |
Chanel Frenzy |
I had my doubts about this one. These taupeish, muddy grey colors tend to be more miss than hit on me, but I saw it on Micheleista The Beauty Hunter and I was sold.
butter London- trout pout |
This was my first butter London color. I also picked up Snog and Teddy Girl. Trout pout in the swatches online looked like more of a peach color. On me it was a bright happy look at me pink.
deborah lippman-It’s Raining Men |
This was my favorite these last couple weeks. Yes, the name had something to do with it. It’s a bright tomato red, and every time I caught a look at my hands during the day it would make me smile.
Rescue Beauty Lounge-Sheer Nude |
Last but not least we have RBL Sheer Nude. I’ve worn this one before here and I think this is going to be my go to nude. I’m not ready to talk about how when I was younger I swore I would never wear this type of “old lady non color”, because I’m not ready to admit that I am an old lady that’s a post for another day. I will just say that my position has evolved and I think this is a clean, classic look.
And with that I am officially back. I’m off to read all of your posts that I’ve missed. Have a great week!
**And if there’s not cue the final count down people and bury me with my entire nail polish collection just like Qin Shi Huang Di and his Terracotta Army.
