Hey there! I hope you have all been well.

I finally made it to the movies to check out the latest Mission Impossible movie.  I think the MI franchise has one of the best theme songs ever. When I was younger I had that song on my voicemail. I’m talking the full on Dun dun dada Dun dun dada Dun dun dada Dun dun dada TUDUM!.. …. at the end of which my voice would cut in saying “your mission if you choose to accept is to leave your name and number.”  I am dead serious.  And, this was way before ring tones and digital music so you can imagine how many tries it took me to get it just right. I know, I know. I’m laughing now as a type this. What can I tell you?  Youth is truly wasted on the young.

The movie was a bit long but I liked it. I won’t give any spoilers but I will say my favorite character in this one was the female lead.  In the last Mission Impossible I loved the fight scene with Paula Patton when she hit that lady like an extremely pissed off ram. If you enjoyed that scene like I did you should definitely check out Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation.

Now ladies and gents your mission should you choose to accept is to have a great week.  Don’t let anything or anybody steal your joy. Dun dun dada Dun dun dada …

Thanks for stopping by!

hahahaha…. I love that! Did you used to watch the old tv show?I haven't seen I believe the last 2, maybe 3. Some of the scenes just require to me to make too much of a leap of faith in to the territory of things not humanly possible. Entertaining yes, but I bit unbelievable. I'll catch it on netflix in 2 years! Look how long your hair is, tell me, is it heavy?

Glad I could make you laugh. I don't remember the TV show. Some of the MIs did require a huge leap of faith. This one wasn't that bad. I think it was the best one yet. My hair is only heavy when it's wet 🙂

You're looking lovely as always 🙂 I don't think I've ever sat down and actually watched it *checks scenes* yes I have – the CIA one but I'm not really a James Bond action girl fan. I think the most unbelievable action films I've ever seen involve Steven Seagal … he seems to literally wave his hands and his opponents fly across rooms whilst he never really gets harmed yet he's kinda slow (or maybe its just lack of effort). Anyway I like your outfit and your nail polish is on point – hands and toes – if you don't mind, what are the shades? Oh and lol about the ring tone – I think that was quirky & unique – you were definitely ahead of the times :)You have a great week too!

hahaha…:-). It's always a joy reading your posts. I haven't seen any action movies in a long time; I'm stuck with the kid's movies for now…lol. I like your simple and fun outfit and those cute open toed booties. Also, your dreads is so long now and I'm actually scared of growing mine this long; I wouldn't know what to do with it and I'm thinking it might be a little heavy; maybe I would have to take styling lessons then…:-). What are your thoughts on that? I'll need some tips.Have a great week too.

Hi Beauty! I'm happy to hear that. I've been keeping it really simple with my outfits lately and booties are my favorite type of shoes now. With regards to the hair I wouldn't be scared at all. I think you have a lot of options as they grow longer. They are only slightly heavy when wet. If anything you can always cut them. I cut about nine inches off of mine a couple years ago. Let me know if you have any hair questions 🙂
