Krka National Park, Croatia

Flowers at Krka National Park

Krka National Park in southern Croatia is known for its seven waterfalls. Getting there from Split involved an hour bus ride and then a 20 minute scenic boat ride to the park. If you are interested in the park I’d recommend you book the trip through one of the local tour guides to cut down on some of the wait time at the ticket lines.  I’d also plan to spend most of the day at the park so you can take everything in without being rushed. The park has concession stands, three restaurants and plenty of restrooms. The designated swimming areas were crowded while I was there but not oppressively so. The waterfalls are a top tourist attraction and were well worth the trip.  It was even more majestic in person.

Have a great weekend!
