First Impressions- CHANEL’S EXCLUSIVES – GENTLE HAIR AND BODY OIL

Chanel Huile Douche Corps et Cheveux – 250 ml here

On the nails- JIN SOON Absolute White

Hiya folks,

I’ve been using this oil for two weeks. It absorbs quickly without leaving much of a residue. It has a mild citrus and white floral scent which I find calming. The oil is packaged in a weighty glass bottle that can get slippery so keep that in mind if you like to keep your body oils in your bathroom. I’ve been using this on my body daily after my night time shower. I’m high on the ashy/dry skin spectrum and I find this oil to be very moisturizing. I’ve been using it in my hair 1- 2x/week.  The directions on Chanel’s website suggest you use the oil in the length of your hair before shampooing or as a finish on dry ends. I use it on dry hair. A little goes a long way with this oil so this bottle should last me a long time. When worn alone it’s a close scent. When layered with other perfumes it doesn’t compete or clash. I’m not crazy about the wide opening.  I pour the oil into the cap to avoid any spills. If I were in charge I would have gone with a spritzer top. I like the oil and I would recommend it for anyone looking to treat themselves or a friend.

Best kept self-care secret! Bring on the body oils. I currently own two brands: 54 Thrones, Minona Luxury, and Bioderma Atoderm shower oil. After reading your review, I’m inclined to treat myself by adding Chanel to the lineup. Dry skin BEGONE!
