My glass bowl was full so I figured I’d do a summer empties post with some “artsy” pictures. The majority of my empties this time were for bath and body. I also finished two perfumes, some facial oils and of course a candle. There will always be a candle.
For bath and body I’ll start with Molton Brown Orange & Bergamot body wash which was a clean rinsing citrus smelling wash. It smelled nice and did the job. Next we have Le Labo’s Hinoki/Sesame shower gel. It was the perfect blend of fresh and woody that I found very calming. According to Le Labo it’s made with sesame, rosemary and sunflower oil. The Mario Badescu A.H.A Body Soap was a good buy. You could not hide your sins from this soap. It sloughs off everything on your skin leaving it glowing. I didn’t find it drying but if you have very sensitive skin I would do a patch test before trying this. The Nivea body cream is a holy grail item for me. It works well for my dry skin. I may stray and try other body creams but my heart will always belong to Nivea. I would repurchase all of the items in this section.
For the face I finished the Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil(reviewed here), my old faithful Clinique Even Better skin tone correcting moisturizer with SPF20, Acure The Essentials Marula Oil, Elizabeth Arden SPF50 and Phyto Hair and Nails supplement. I would repurchase the Lotus Oil, the Clinique SPF 20 and the Acure Marula Oil. The Elizabeth Arden SPF50 was an airport buy that I got when I realized I left my sunscreen at home. I like that the fact that it was a solid but it’s not something I would buy again. The Phyto Hair and Nails supplement were on sale at Nordstrom when I bought it. I don’t think they did anything that my regular multivitamins don’t do.
I hope you all are enjoying your summer. Thanks for stopping by!
