Hola amigos,
Tis the season to go through your closets, cupboards and cabinets to find things that you spent your hard earned money on to throw out in the name of new year-new you organization. I have not stepped on to the Marie Kondo train yet but I am pretty diligent at using up what I do have before I buy new things. I’ve been keeping the majority of my finished products since my last empties post in April. My bowl runneth over so I felt an update was in order.
First up is fragrance. I would not purchase the Aesop Istros home spray again. The notes are pink pepper corn, lavender and tobacco. I finished it because you know I paid for it but I think it was the tobacco note that wasn’t a love for me. I also wouldn’t buy a full size patchouli candle. The patchouli and oud mini candles were gifts from the 2019 Diptyque Advent Calendar. The holiday candles were reviewed here. Diptyque Vetyverio was reviewed here.
Next is skincare. I would repurchase everything here. Sadly I think Origins no longer makes the Plantscription mask. I plan to do a full review of the Urban Skin Rx products. I tried them for the first time last year and there was a lot that I liked.
Last is hands and body. The St Ives oatmeal wash was a two for one Target deal. The wash really was soothing with a light pleasant scent. I found myself reaching for it a lot for my nightly showers. The Honest lavender body wash/shampoo lathered well and rinsed without any residue. I only tried it as a body wash. The Honest brand from Jessica Alba is on my list to explore. They now offer makeup and skincare. I can say that I’m a fan of their body wash. The Kiehl’s astringent was reviewed here. The Diptyque creme is the same container that I reviewed in 2016 here. The only meh product in this category was the Fresh Seaberry hand cream. It wasn’t very emollient so I would not repurchase it.
What have you finished up lately?

I have finished my face wash by Paris Hilton and I am missing it already. It was an expensive gift. LOL! I love seeing your empties.

Thanks Nerline. I didn’t know she had a skincare line.
