Diptyque has introduced a line of eco-friendly cleaning supplies. I’m not breaking up with my old faithful Dawn any time soon but I did want to test out some of the new offerings from Diptyque. I started with the la Droguerie candle which has basil as one of the main notes along with mint and tomato. I liked the candle so much I bought the multi-surface cleaner and the wood and leather polish. In terms of aesthetics I like the amber vessels. The candle does work well as a deodorizer. I’ve been using it in the kitchen after cooking and it burns evenly. The mutli-surface cleaner which is refillable cleans, degreases and descales according to the Diptyque website. I’ve mainly used it in the kitchen on the counters. I like the scent which is described as mix of vinegar, lavender, cedar and fig. I used the wood cleaner on some chairs and it polished them nicely with no residue. I’ve been advised that la Droguerie will be a permanent part of the Diptyque line up. I’m pleased with what I’ve bought and would repurchase them again. I’m on my second la Droguerie candle.
Do your best for the rest of the week and then come home. Take care.
