Cristalle is described on the Chanel website as “A breath of green nature, rays of crystalline light. A floral, fresh and green fragrance with a sheer and spirited heart.” The notes are mangolia, fresh citrus and neroli.
Apparently National Fragrance Day was March 21st. Never one to be rushed I bring you today one of my more recent perfume purchases. Cristalle Eau Verte smells like fresh cut grass and limes to me. Now I know that’s not quite as sexy as “a breath of green nature” but I’m telling you that is what I smell and I am committed to truth in blogging. I first smelled Cristalle at one of the Chanel counters in Incheon International Airport. I was like, “this is cute” so I did some not so quick for me math and realized it was cheaper for me to buy it in the United States. I bought it from Chanel online when I returned home and I have been using it regularly but I would not repurchase it. I think Cristalle Eau Verte is marketed as more of a fragrance for women but having used it I think it is actually a unisex scent. On me longevity is about three hours with very little sillage. I’m glad I tried Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte but it didn’t wow me.
