Books I may or may not read in January.
Hi folks,
My Goodreads reading goal this year was 52 books. I’ve read 14. I may finish one or two more before the year is out but there is no way I’m going to get to 52. I had plans this year to read Baldwin and Ishiguro. I read zero books from those authors this year. The best laid plans of people who post their reading goals on the Interwebs right. The last time I fell short of my reading goals was 2015. I had a good five year run since then.
So, what happened? Heck if I know. I’m not terribly upset about it because sometimes things don’t go as planned and that’s okay. I’ll keep my reading goal at 52 books for 2022 and see how it goes. It may turn out to be my best reading year ever.
